Springboks
The Springboks – a name which was coined in the early 1900’s - are an iconic force in South African sport, and have represented South Africa in the international arena since 1891. One of the greatest moments in our sporting history, which managed to bring together South Africans of all walks of life, was the defeat of the All Blacks in 1995.
In their green and gold jerseys with the Springbok and the Protea as their official emblems, they are immediately recognisable, and epitomise the spirit and passion of every South African.
