    How do I join/register for Absa Rewards?

    Sign up for free Rewards on your Absa Banking App today and start earning real cash back everytime that you pay with your Absa card. Visit www.absa.co.za/rewards for more information.
     

    Who is eligible to opt in for Absa Rewards?

    • Individual Absa customers with a qualifying transactional account* who register on the Absa Banking App and accept the Ts&Cs.
    • South African citizens or residents over 18 years.
       

    How can I redeem my Cash Rewards?

    You can view your Rewards balance on the last day of every month on your Absa Banking App. Cash Rewards can be redeemed through the following channels:

    • The Absa Banking App
    • Chat Banking  (WhatsApp)
    • Chat Wallet (WhatsApp)
    • USSD Banking (*120*2272#)
       

    What is my Absa Rewards score/tier and how do I up my tier?

    • You will be assigned a monthly Rewards score based on the number of qualifying products that you hold, your banking behaviour and engagements. Your final Rewards score determines how you move up a tier. 
    • Your Rewards tier is determined by the score that you have accumulated during the accrual period (the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month). 
    • Your Rewards tier might vary month on month. 
    • Tier score ranges 1. 0-499 2. 500-599 3. 600-699 4. 700-799 5. 800+
