  • Qualifying criteria

    • You must be an individual or legal entity with a South African bank account
    • You must be a resident of and/or your business must be based in South Africa
    • You must have a clear credit record and have no judgements against your name

  • How it works

    • Your recurring transactions can be processed using one of two options:
      • Dedicated communications software required where transactions occur via a host-to-host link.
      • Certain payment service providers can offer Batchlink processing; contact your nearest regional office for more information.
    • Tokenisation is mandated by us when taking on new Batchlink merchants.
    • We do not process batch files on Sundays and public holidays.
    • Your commerce service provider should be integrated to Absa.
