    Shop in-store or online using your Absa debit or credit card during the Paris 2024 Olympics and get more cash back in Absa Rewards. For every medal that Team South Africa wins:

    • Get up to 5 times more cash back for gold 
    • Up to 3 times more cash back for silver 
    • Up to 2 times more cash back for bronze

  • What you need to know

    To qualify for your cash back and to get a chance to spend time with Akani Simbine:
     

    • Use your Absa debit or credit card 5 times during the campaign period
    • Spend is capped at R1 000 per day (normal caps apply per the accrual cycle)
    • The bonus cash back will be calculated on the current day’s spend (when the medal/medals are won)
    • If Team South Africa wins more than one medal on the day, the highest medal  won will determine your cash back
    • If you spend R5 000 during the campaign period, you could be 1 of 2 lucky customers to spend time with Akani Simbine to learn more about his story
    • You can use mobile payment services like Apple Pay, Garmin Pay, Samsung Pay, Fitbit Pay or Google Pay

  • Who qualifies?

    • South African citizens with a valid ID document or passport
    • Temporary residents with a valid passport and permit
    • Provide correct and full personal contact details
    • 18 years or older
    • Absa Rewards members
    • Have an account in good standing (no arrears or excess amounts on a cheque account).

  • Campaign period

    Campaign runs from 26 July 2024 and ends on 11 August 2024.
