  • Self-service portal

    1. Login to your self-service portal using your ID or passport number.
    2. Click or tap My claims, enter the required information and upload photos supporting your claim (if you have any).
    3. Make sure that all the information is correct before submitting. Remember to keep your claim number so that you can track the progress.

      We'll keep you updated every step of the way via email and through your self-service portal.

  • Absa Banking App

    1. Log in to your Banking App.
    2. Tap the Insurance hub from the bottom of your home screen.
    3. Tap the relevant insurance product.
    4. Tap Claim at the top of the screen.
    5. Enter your details and follow the prompts to submit your claim

  • Absa Activate App

    1. Log in to your Activate App.
    2. Tap Claims from your Home screen.
    3. Tap Log claim next to the item for which you're claiming.
    4.  Select the reason for your claim and complete the questions.
    5. Tap Submit and we'll send you a claim number.

  • Absa Online

    1. Log in to Absa Online.
    2. Tap or click the Insurance hub on your Home screen.
    3. Select your insurance product.
    4. Tap or click Claim.
    5. Enter your details and follow the prompts to submit your claim.
