  • Fees and charges

    Contribution amounts are restricted to R36 000 annually, and R500 000 over your lifetime.
     

    Minimum monthly debit:

    • R250 per Unit Trust Fund and R500 per underlying Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) selected

    Minimum lump sum investment: 

    • R5 000

    Additional investments: 

    • From R250 per fund and R500 per ETF respectively
       

    Fees:

    • Annual administration fee
    • Annual/Initial financial adviser fee
    • Asset management fees, varying by selected fund(s).

  • Tax implications

    • Dividends, rental income and returns from Unit Trusts and EFTs are not taxable (subject to tax-free exemption threshold)
    • Selling these investments also doesn't incur capital gains tax
    • Certain information relating to the investment are reportable to SARS
    • Absa may at no point in time provide any tax advice to clients and the information relating to tax above is purely for information purposes.
