What you need to know

  • What is it?

    • As a Visa Signature or Visa Infinite cardholder, you are eligible to receive complimentary visits per year and 1 free guest per visit through Visa Airport Companion App (VAC), provided by DragonPass.
    • Simply download the VAC App, register, enroll your eligible card and present your Digital Access pass to the lounge staff to process your visit. There are over 1200 lounges globally to choose from. If you invite any additional guests with you into the lounge, you will be billed by directly to your Visa Signature/Visa Infinite card at USD $32* per guest per visit.

  • Benefits

    How to access DragonPass International Lounge benefits:
     

    • Cardholders will not be able to enter the lounge with their physical bank card – access will only be digital using the Visa Airport Companion App.
    • The app will be available at no cost from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
    • Customers will need a smartphone to enable App download and registration.

  • What you need

     

    1. Download and register for the Absa Bank App (as access to 3D secure transaction authentication is required to enroll your card(s) in the Visa Airport Companion App (Customers cannot use OTP to validate transactions).
    2. Download the Visa Airport Companion (VAC) app from their relevant Apple App Store or Google Play Store (the App will be available for download from 19 September 2024).
    3. Register in the VAC app and enroll your card (Visa Secure Authentication (3D Secure) and Account Verification ($0 Auth) will be performed).
       

    Note:

    • Primary and secondary cardholders cannot share memberships. The secondary cardholder must download the VAC App and create their own VAC profile.
    • The same email address cannot be used to create multiple profiles. Every registration requires a unique email address.

  • How it works

    Signing up is simple, follow these steps:
     

    Step 1: Absa cardholders must have the Absa Bank App downloaded and be registered to enable receiving the 3D-secure authentication message from the VAC App.

    Step 2: Eligible Visa cardholders must download the Visa Airport Companion (VAC) app, from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

    Step 3: Once downloaded, select Sign Up and complete the information as requested including:

    • Eligible Visa card details:

    » Card number

    » Expiry date

    » CVV number

    » Country of issuance

    • Name, email address, and mobile number
    • Consent to Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use.

    Step 4: A six-digit code will be sent to the cardholder’s mobile number or email address for verification.

    Step 5: After successful verification, the cardholder can create a password and will be directed to the app homepage where their benefits can be accessed straight away.
